I make no claims about being any sort of culinary expert -- I just really like food. I've been a try-this-at-home cook for the past few years. I shop on a limited budget, but have expensive taste, so I enjoy the challenge of finding a middle ground.
I love it when something simple ends up being a knockout. I couldn’t get enough of my lunch today — mixed greens, Granny Smith apple slices, walnut pieces, crumbled blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette.
